A Long, Long Post.

Okay, I admit. I haven't been blogging for quite awhile. At least 3 weeks or so. I've been busy studying. Alright, I lied. I've actually been living my life, instead of blogging about it. Okay, another lie..Wahahaa..that's just a cover up to say that I've just been lazy.

I just finished a paper this morning. So, I shall blog without feeling any guilt. Anyway, June has been back for just slightly less than 2 weeks, and I've been out with her every single day except for yesterday. Some might wonder, what can do we do, if we see each other everyday. It doesn't matter even if we had nothing to do, I would just feel like my day isn't complete without seeing her. Thank goodness she feels the same.

Anyway, since I didn't join her and the rest for our usual round of drinks last night, she got Papa to pass me something since he's moved to the apartment building across mine. Her parents went to Perth and bought a couple of boxes of apple strudels. According to Papa, it's supposed to be the third best in the world or something. And Perth is the only place to get it, in terms of Australia.
It's pretty long, and I was supposed to share half of it with Papa. This was my half.

It was really yum! I'm kind of secretly wishing that Ree Sion doesn't like it, so that I can finish the whole thing hehe. But, he said it reminded him of custard balls when I served him his first portion. So I assume that if he likes it, since he likes custards. I'm wondering if I quietly finish it, would he go searching for it? *evil grin*

June found a new obessession when she went back to M'sia. Cupcakes. So, we can all say bye-bye to her gardening hobby. More like, bye-bye to the plants in her garden. She managed to buy more baking tools and ingredients last week and made two attempts on two recipes in her overpriced cupcake book. I forgot to take photos of the second batch of orange & chocolate chips cupcakes made, but I'll share the ones we took of the first batch of hazelnut cupcakes. We had fun decorating them.

Maggie, who learns pastry. She guided June with the first batch.Cute :)

Then we proceeded to decorate our names

I didn't manage to take Maggie and Edmund's because I ran out of memory space.

I believe baking is an energy-draining task. We felt hungry and kept on snacking throughout the two nights that she decided to bake. 3 bowls of self-made nachos, sandwiches and the cupcakes itself on the first night. And instant noodles, ice-cream and the cupcakes again on the second night. Everytime she wants to snack, she makes me eat together with her! Evil girl o_O

And that was after a '3 dish + 1 soup' combo dinner that June cooked according to some new recipe books she brought over to Melb. Simple to cook, and tasty too! Or maybe, it's just the wii-ing all night that has been making us hungry. My arms are sore from playing boxing!! If I had extra cash, I'll buy Nintendo Wii just to kill boredom at home sometimes.

June managed to get some hair curling tools and wanted to test it out on someone. With only Steve and me around, guess who became her guinea pig?

First she used the new heated rollers. It gave my hair abit of volume. It looked alright from the back, but a bit too puffy from the front. I must have looked like some poodle. o_OThen she started using curling iron to enhance the curls.
Then decided to tie partial of my hair up.And the rest of it.While they wii-ed, I camwhored a little bit because it's not often that I have my hair up, since high school and ballet times. Just figured I never looked good eventhough I like the look of lush thick hair simply tied up in a messy bun.But by the time I reached home, the hair clip couldn't hold my thick hair up any longer. And it turned out like this..I proceeded to take a couple more of pics and edited it on my mobile for fun. It's become my small-time hobby - editing the photos on my mobile while I'm bored outside or waiting on someone.

Since June is on a baking spree, I shared a food blog that I found that was given by Stacey. This blog
blog owner is an amazing chef. And she dares to claim that her culinary skills are BASIC. Geez, talk about being modest. Go check it out!

I told June that she better made me these cupcakes!!Penguins In A Cup!! omg. omG. oMG. OMG.
If she or anyone else for that matters, could bake me THIS cake - I shall love you long time. *ClicK* Just LOOK at it. Is she CRAZY!!?! But I wish I could bake like that. I would definitely use my heart to bake for the ones I love and care about ^^.

She's not just good in baking, you know. Asian food, Western food. You name it, she's most probably had cooked it before and listed out the recipe too. I'm impressed, really.

Yeah, I realised that I've blabbed a lot today. Maybe because I'm in a good mood. One paper's finally out of the way, so I can breath just a little again. Maybe it's because of someone. Or maybe, I have found myself a new entertainment. But that's for ME to know. *wink*

Alright, time to call June because I miss her already. I haven't seen her for over 24 hours - that is a crime.
