Sixth Month Is Back :)

Like I've mentioned, June is back. It was one of the best surprise I've ever had. It was a Friday night and Edmund insisted on having a karaoke session instead of going for some event that some of my friends were attending. Fine, it didn't really matter all that much. I received a call from June and she said that she was having a karaoke session with her girls in KL and missed me. I didn't think too much about it and passed on the call to Steph for her turn to yak with J for abit.

2 minutes after we got off the phone, Miss June walked into the room. I managed to pick up my jaw off the ground after a few seconds and teared in joy. Literally. I was just too shocked for words to believe that she was right there standing in front of me. In Melbourne. Just when she told me that there's utterly no hope for her to return here except for short holidays, earliest in June itself. And after all the frequent international calls I made to her when I missed her. She seems to think that busting my cap for all this was worth it. I guess, it still was :) Apparently, the bitch already knew she could return around the same time I came back to Melbourne.

The moment she was back, it was only normal that our weekends were jam packed with plans. I could understand that, and I wanted to spend heaps of time with her as well. I didn't get to see her much back in KL and that really sucked because I'm used to seeing her almost everyday!

Steph cooked Assam Laksa that weekend and we went to FIX that night. for the Labour Day's Eve event. Janice joined us for a home-cooked session and clubbing together for the very first time. Anyway it was back to our daily routine soon enough. Especially during the weekdays. Janice invited us over to her place for Nasi Lemak the next weekend. It was another memorable night - great company, fantastic food and heaps of 'entertainment' that shouldn't be revealed here. Maggie.

Last week, I stayed over at June's two nights in a row on a last minute decision. Just bumming all night, and headed to LEE's warehouse. Didn't get much. We had dinner and drinks with Papa on Thursday night since it was his birthday. And a big hotpot home session on Good Friday. It was a surprise that Janice and her boy came along. Some watched movies, some played mah jong. And some of us are hooked on her PS3 Rockband game - it feels like we have rockstars in the house haha. Anyway, her house feels like a high class entertainment centre sometimes.

Everyone busy stuffing themselves silly. :) Happy family
Yes, I'm aware that I need to do something about my fringe. Really soon.

Before she came back, life was a little more on the quiet side. Occasional yummy experimental home dinner sessions at my place and ending the night with TV trivia or movies until wee hours of the night. Or, daily simple dinner and drinks after work hours. And occasionally bar-bumming while sharing our deepest and reserved thoughts when the wines and cosmos takes over our usual calm and collected minds. Sharing a single bed with Stephy for dear company when she doesn't need to work the next day.

Now, as another week unfolds, I see busy days ahead. Juggling with an assignments, heaps of catching up on my readings and work, and still spending time with my loved ones. But they're worth it :)

hey. You're finally back? Heaps has happened to me too. Not too many good things, I'm afraid, but still hanging in here. I miss you! =)
