Two weeks ago, my weekend was jam-packed with plans.

First, I managed to meet up with my Mama Chong. She finally took me to that Madame Brussels place. What a coincidence, it was a great day to go as the weather was pretty good to hang around an open-roof area.

Of all days, I chose that Friday to wear that pretty blazer I bought in KL. Looks chio for sure, but made me feel a lil' hot during work =.= " Plus, I had my scarf tied around my neck as well .So what better way to celebrate the warm weather with a jug of chilled...Sangria(?) I think its red wine with fruits. Mmm...Mama Chong. She took me to EatDrinkBento. Yvonne joined us there. Their Sukiyaki tastes really good!
I headed home after dinner because I was too tired to go anywhere.

The next Saturday noon, we had Yumcha session in Chinatown. June's been raving about some sort of egg yolk buns but...they ran out when we ordered for it =.=" Chapel St was our next destination. Zimmerman warehouse sale was pretty shit, but I managed to spend a bomb elsewhere with a few tops (+ a dress).

Dinner was held at June's. Edmund was the main chef and whipped up 6 dishes. Maggie came up with the 7th. I think it's pork belly with celery. I kept picking out the celeries but the meat tasted great.Fried chicken wings. And then there were others.. (you've gotta be kidding me if you think I'm gonna introduce every single dish properly)
Just in case you were wondering what this is, it's fish. Tasted better than how it looks, ok.
Our movie plans were cancelled. Turned out to be a 'gambling' night.

Oh, Deki popped by before dinner started to give us a huge box of dessert-flavored mooncakes, like the ones I bought previously. Janice also brought pulut hitam ('hak loh mai') for dessert.

Sunday came and we did nothing. Except for dinner at Rockpool, Crown.
Our starter - some linguinni cooked with prawn oil. Nice! Janice said it reminded her of prawn mee, in a good way.
Me. Janice. Steph.
My 40-minute-something-with-butter. It literally came out after 40 minutes or so =.="

Janice actually recommended another kind, but it was 'age-ing' and wasn't served during this period. This was alright, but I wouldn't eat it again when I come back, mainly because it was abit too salty at the sides. Janice said hers was good.
Our sides - sauteed brussel sprouts and sauteed mushrooms (which tasted damn good).

So...last week, it became a more quiet week. I went for the VIP Shopping Night on Wednesday after work and stayed over at June's. Yes, I've added more things into my wardrobe. Sure kiasu abit-lah. Only further discounts applied for that night ma! But I really wanted to kick myself hard for not getting the gladiator heels that I tried on. Could have saved myself $30 or so.

*I'm not sure why but all of a sudden, I just had this very strong urge to get a pair since the beginning of last week.*

On Friday noon, Edmund woke me up because June and her friend needed a place to get changed. The bride-to-be was having a photoshoot session and had to change into another gown.

She came in this. Nice hor? I think she's pretty photogenic in candid photos. I know I would look shit in them.
June touching up on her make-up and hair after changing into the second set of gown. Kudos to June for doing all the make-up and hair for Puppy by herself :)

Sigh. I want to get married too. Just for this sort of fuss and fun haha :P

That night, I went to Billboard's event instead of Partyworld. Since Steph felt like dancing, why not? Gonna go Partyworld the next weekend anyway.
Housemates.
Alcoholic #1
Alcoholic #2
Doing the whole arms-crossed-drinks-exchanging thing.
Aaron. He decided to join us, and dragged Ming Jai along. Ming wasn't intending to come initially.
Smooch-a-roo.
Minh looking like 'wtf' as we girls posed kisses in front of him haha.
The old-school pose - Peace forever.
I do not know why he was doing that. Nor do I understand why I put on such a look. Still with that peace sign =.="
So tired.

That night was pretty good, if it wasnt for some unnecessary drama.

We spend saturday indoors until late evening. Went browsing in a few shops and then finally dinner at Chom chom. I went out once again at night to have drinks at San Churros with Vic since he is here for the holidays to attend his bro's wedding.

This week, I took the time off work so I could be more well-rested and to start on revision. Because I know I have to work a little longer next week when the girls are away. Unfortunately, I got more rest than revising done LOL. How typical of me.

And now, its close to the weekend and I've hardly had much done. What an unproductive week :( At least, I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. And a complimentary chakra massage, whatever that is.

I better get back to revising now. Hopefully, that would make me feel better about wasting the past previous days :/
