What a rush after work. I barely had time to get ready for dinner because I had a quick drink with Lee as soon as I got home. I practically just threw on a dress and touched up on my make-up (which I found out to be a real epic fail afterwards).
Shwee's birthday dinner was held at The Point, Albert Park. The manager was really bitchy and refused to allow us to order from the usual menu just because there were more than 10 of us despite him saying he would make an exception when Shwee called to make reservations much earlier. He only served us the group menu which obviously was more restricted.
Anyway, one of the waiters were more diplomatic in handling us and managed to persuade us to stay and get the chef to make the exception (because we were close to leaving and already had made another reservation elsewhere instead haha)
Appetizer - not quite sure what it is.
Entree - oysters that were so tiny you hardly tasted anything. But they were really fresh.
