And there goes another weekend.
It was Steph's birthday celebration last night - dinner at Long grain and karaoke at Chi Lounge. Doing it in advance because her actual birthday falls on a weekday. The night was good, I was so tired by the end of it because I worked from 9-5pm. By 4.30ish am, I was dying to snuggle in bed.
You'll think I would wanna sleep in today but some friends wanted to have brunch at Three Bags Full. Two warehouse sales and a shoe shop later, we were all ready to head home for a short rest with our shopping bags. But 2 hours after, we met up again for a simple dinner =.='
So, you see. I didn't have enough rest this weekend. At all. And it's time to go to bed now because it's back to work again tomorrow morning. How much have I spent over this weekend? A bag full of hosiery, 2 cardigans, a top, dress, jeans, denim skirt, and work flats later, I'm just glad I worked yesterday to minimize the damage on my tiny pockets.
Oh, my Sheridan has arrived hohoho. Can't wait to change my sheets soon-ish.

I'm Aliveeeeeee!
And it's been a week and a half since I returned to Melbourne. So how was KL? Gooood as usual. Any holiday is always good for me - sleeping in, lazing around and catching up with loved ones. Not to mention all the endless supply of good food, be it at my favourite food spots or home-cooked meals.
Okay, I'm still halfway through my holiday post so.. just hang on.
There was VIP Night at Chadstone yesterday and I was really well-behaved. The only things I bought were from Sportsgirl and it was under $80 - 2 cropped cardis, earrings and a scarf. No luck with work attire, or maybe I was just too tired to browse shop by shop.
I heard good reviews of Lady Gaga's concert in Sydney. Iwannagoiwannagoiwannago! ): But tickets should be all sold out by now. SIGH ): So much cheaper than JayChou's concert summore.
I've been so flat out this week because there were just so much to do at work, it was neverending! The moment I lie down on my bed, I dozed off within ten seconds or so :S

Work.
It's been a tiring start to the week. I had an offer to do a 2-week temporary work and I snapped it up quickly.
Gosh, the first day was excruciating because the stock area was a complete mess - an unorganised jungle with so many racks of stuff to be put away that I didn't know where to start. And to top it all up, I wore heels to work. The high ones.
My feet were in SO much pain by the end of the day. Andy was like 50 minutes late due to traffic jam caused by a road accident so I was standing in the cold, in pain and hunger because I didn't have any lunch (did not bring lunch and was too tired to head out to grab anything).
Second day was much better because we started making progress with the stock. I had flats this time and I knew better of what I had to do - enough for the team leader to chat me up about job opportunities in the company. Unfortunately, a showroom consultant isn't what I would like to be doing full-time.
My lunch at Ying Thai - it's a blessing that the place is so near my current workplace.
Beef combination noodle soup - added in all sorts of chilli that they served and it's super yum. Okay, I've decided to have it for lunch once again tomorrow heh.
Today everything was starting to fall into place. The ladies mentioned that they could see a difference from what Bianca (the other temp) & I have done. It was a pretty busy day that I only took my lunch break at 4 when I finish work at 5 =.=
Naturally, I've been either napping right after dinner once I reached home (and then screwing up my sleeping pattern) or went to bed at 11 if I didn't have a chance to nap. But... I miss my night 'life'! Not that you can label it as a life, but I like the pressure of not having to sleep early and doing whatever I want, knowing I could sleep in the next day. Grrr.
I hope tomorrow is pay day - to remind me this is all worth it.
