It was a pretty busy day - good sales, a good amount of crowd, and lots of new clothes to put up. But I had my eyes on the counter most of the time even when I wasn't standing there to guard the area. I couldn't figure out which customer was it until I checked the camera footage today.
Some lady asked me for a size of a particular pants and I had to walk to a blind spot, to check. As soon as I was out of her sight, being blocked by a huge pillar, she literally leaned across the counter to open the drawer and took it! OMG. It was so pissing off when I saw it!
And to think that I purposely charged the battery and added new songs the night before, just for the blardee thief. Geramnya!!
Do you reckon I should make a police report? But what's the point unless they can catch the lady and return my iPod? :/
I feel so empty walking around without being able to listen to my music. Sigh. And it was only a year old :( Including the case and earphones I bought for it, that is $650 down the drain!
Janice seems a little too happy for my lost - keep reinforcing her suggestion to get iPhone again =.=
Anyway, I just remembered the reason for this post. Yish and I were talking about how we love this grey cardi we both bought from GP ages ago. And that I planned to collect different colors every year. Except that I bought one in a different material last year and didn't find it as comfy.
I bought another one today, along with many other things.. She asked for a picture and when I finally took one, she's no longer online :/
I THINK I spent about $700 today, which was totally unplanned. o_O" I wasn't even lemming on a lot of things! I think it must have been the need for retail therapy to soothe my sadness.
I should start following Shopaholic's Anonymous' tactic - "DO I REALLY NEED THIS?" :P Nah, I think I just shouldn't be left alone when shopping. At least a companion could stop me, if the purchase weren't worth it. Okay, shall refrain from buying anything in these two weeks.
