So, I decided to go after all.

And I even prepped my nails up for it hehe. My first successful attempt at nail art. Not perfect, but it should suffice.

The main entrance. When I arrived, Caroline & Yvonne already had sausages and crab chowder (from Stokehouse).

The booklet and crowns given to purchase food & drinks. My $55 gone~

Interlude: Roast beef with trimmings. 12 crowns.
Caroline ordered this one. Not too bad.

Grossi Florentino: Polpette di baccala: salted cod croquettes, aoili, & rocket. 8 crowns.
She picked this one as well. A little salty, but tasted great.

My Mama Chong (Caroline)

Grossi Florentino: Risotto con porcini e salvia: Porcini mushroom & sage risotto. 12 crowns.
I picked this one. Can I say 'ughhh'. I've always had a thing for mushroom risotto but this has got to be the worst I've had so far. Even Monash's MamaDuke makes much more awesome ones.

Yvonne.

Yvonne strongly suggested that I tried the sausages she ordered earlier.
Fifteen: Pork sausage with chilli & garlic on caponata di melanzane ( a Sicilian eggplant relish). 10 crowns. Much more reasonable and yummier than the stupid risotto. The eggplant is out of this world!

We got abit lost on what to order next. So we just decided on a dessert and 2 hot drinks.
Stokehouse: Candied apple & almond cake with orange mascarpone & nougat. 8 crowns.

I like the roof interior of this place. Apparently, MelbUni exams are sometimes held here.

So chubby :(

I bought this 'butterfly-motif' thin scarf for like $7.50 (2 for $15) from JayJays! Cute? I've been into scarves lately - I've bought 3 in the past month.
