Argh, 4.20am and yet I can't sleep. I was so tired before and fell asleep by 10pm, only to get up once again at 1.30am. Now, I'm fresh as a prick and have no idea what to do. But at least, I managed to made another small progress in getting my room organized and looking neat.
It hasn't been much of a productive day. I woke up just in time for a really late lunch/early dinner invite. June picked Steph & I up to join the rest for dinner at Ying Thai. Yes, everyone's reunited once again! :):):) Oh, Steph and I went for some serious grocery shopping by ourselves after dinner.
And while we were walking back with heaps of bags, this young female teenager approached me for some small change. She looked decent, and wasn't one of those homeless people you see around. I said I didn't have any because I KNEW I used it all up on my gelato after dinner.
She suddenly looked a little annoyed and pointed at my bags and said I had "food" before walking off. Sheesh. Erm, did she ever think that I might have used up all my money on the amount of things we've just bought? So, what was her point...?
Seriously, what is wrong with these people?! I wouldn't mind giving her small change since she only asked for 5 or 10 cents. But I knew I didn't have any, and cbf-ed putting down all my bags to dig it out for her anyway. Since when did it become mandatory to share your spare change with unknown people?! Hope I don't have anymore of these stupid encounters with dumb people.
On a totally different note...
Hmm, a few friends seem to be coming to Melbourne to visit this year. But for me, I wish I could just buy myself a holiday overseas elsewhere! Thailand, Bali, Hong Kong or Taiwan, maybe. And Europe, UK or the States again, if my parents allowed it :P It'll be so fun if I could travel somewhere (anywhere, really) with just my friends. It has been a long time since I last did that :(
