The Giraffe Goes On Holiday!

Kurt arrived on Wed night. After picking him up and letting him settle down at my place, I took him for late supper at Ten Ren's. We spent the rest of the night just bumming around and watching TVB while playing with our own laptops.

Since I had to work full-shift the next day, I let him explore the city by himself. And he literally did. I think he knows the streets and shortcuts back to my place, better than Steph haha. They both came to pick me up after work and we had dinner at Dessert House and drinks at Brunetti. Which I regretted later on. Should have taken him to Max Brenner instead for more chocolatey stuff.

Kurt checked out places like Bridge Road, Chapel St and Smith St as I worked on Friday. I even suggested that he checked out Vic Mart, for the sake of it LOL. I asked him what did he want for dinner, and he suggested Indomie -.- Zzzz... Just because I cooked him that and a fried egg for our 4am supper when we were both hungry, and that he loved it. How can he have not tried Indomie before?? It's a total crime!

So, we gals decided on Tien Fu (Sichuan food). No idea why the que that night was so freaking long. Also, it was pretty unexpected that Kurt could take relatively spicy food like us! We headed home to rest and get ready to go Crown and probably left home around midnight. Kurt was left speechless because I won money right after he lost his $1 to the same slot machine haha.

After the drama on the streets on our way back home, we headed out again to get some lamb souvlakis for our supper. I haven't had those in nearly a year, I think.

The weather was pretty good on Saturday noon. So, we went to St. Kilda Beach after yumchar at Shark Fin's Inn. Steph's such a VIP - manager kept giving us complementary desserts and all hehe.
Outside Amello's.
Still playing Photo Hunt on Kurt's new iPhone =.=
There he goes, taking postcard-worthy sceneries but without himself in it :/
Yes, I'm short. I AM aware of it.
Came back to Amello's - the same place we brought Kien during his last trip.Kurt was trying to help spin Steph around in those seats, but it looks like he had just slapped her here LOL.
Sit back and relax, enjoy the weather with a nice cold beer.
Look how blue the sky is! As we lazed on the grass after, an oversized purple pig came and lay herself down on my lap.Kurt looking emo. The three stooges.
Stephane.
You can see heaps of people lying around, sun-bathing or having picnics. Walking their dogs or cycling along the deck.
I know I am short...but he is too much.
Yes, not only do I have short legs - they are fat and make me look so stumpy >:(
I still feel like I have a giraffe standing behind me.
Before we left the beach.Bought some Krispy Kreme donuts home.
Kurt loved them! I never knew he had such a sweet tooth. I, for one, usually don't have a thing for donuts. Esp not the ones in M'sia. Way too sweet, and not even soft.

We took him to dinner at Ying Thai. And for ice-cream at Il Dolce Freddo's. YUM. Proceeded to join Edmund and the rest of them at Cho Gao. I played Texas Hold' Em Poker for the first time! Quite fun, esp with beer involved heh.
Mr. Fix-It helping Steph with her computer stuff before he left for the airport.

And that's the end of his holidays. Sigh. Now, it's no longer 3 musketeers at home. How sad :( Anyway, he knows he will be missed. Esp when he sees a challenge invitation for STD from Steph every night haha.
