Long Easters Weekend.

We didn't do much during Easter weekend. Or maybe, I just can't remember anymore haha.

I think I stayed home resting on a Friday night. I went for a tarot card reading on Saturday evening with Steph, after being convinced by SuhChie once again when she told us how the tarot card lady 'foresee' alot of things that came true, right on the dot! And even her friends that went found it accurate.

I found mine slightly vague, and I'm not sure if it's going to be true, but we'll see. I sure do hope Steph's cards were true as well. Later, Wayne - Kien's brother, texted me to meet up.

We had drinks at Koko B. and then walked around at Myer's to see if there were any good bargains but found nothing. Then, the 12 of us had hotpot at Mama's. During dinner, June received news that her grandma passed away :( Anyway, we wanted to take Wayne to a white club but CQ wouldn't let us in because they were only taking care of regulars that night. What dogs! It's just discrimination, I tell you. >:( We finally ended up at Supper Club, which I didn't mind.

The next day (Sunday), Janice & Deric picked us girls up to head to Mt. Dandenong. Miss Janice was on her mission to eat her long-craved scones at Miss Marples.
Because the que was long and we were asked to return at 4pm, we stopped at Pie In The Sky, which was pretty crowded too. This place has won heaps of awards for their pies.
Two of us kids drinking up.My Pie Floater. It was alright - basically, beef pie served on pea and ham soup. I still prefer their asian pies - Beef Rendang, Thai Green Curry & Korma Pie. Which I brought home hehe.
We popped by a toy shop, filled with puppets. I remember coming here with Angeline & Yishyene before. Ah, old times.
My sleeping beauty.
Still waiting for our turn at Miss Marples. Steph looks funny because she was about to stick her tongue out as a pose :P
I like this picture of us :)
Scones! Served with cream and jam.
Fingers - I remember tasting egg and smoked salmon on it.

After having our two rounds of meals, we finally headed back down. Had a short rest, and had dinner at Laksa King. And I have the nerve to ask how come I'm getting so fat? Sigh.

We spent our Easter Monday noon having high-tea at Winsor Hotel. FINALLY! June's been saying that us to go, but we never got around to it. And now that Janice has finally made the first move and made reservations, June couldn't go because she had to fly back to attend her grandma's funeral. Boo.
Gals of the day.
Our 3-tier of scones, pastries and sandwiches.I liked some of these, they weren't bad. The scones, however, were too dry.
Me. Shwee. Janice. Steph.Part of the dessert buffet table, that was available only for the Easters Indulgence. They hiked up the price from the usual $45 to $65 just because of this holiday -_-"Having my turn at the crepes. Wow, my bum looks massive from this angle >_<"Because the buffet table were closing soon, we took what we could. This is Janice's plate haha.My kiasuism - they were nice, but I was SO stuffed! The gals with Papa (Richard) & Kevin.
Cute telephone booth.

And that marked the end of our long Easters weekend holidays (and the continuation of my weight gain). Not that it mattered because I didn't have to work for a couple more days.
